Please be kind to your horses because they forgive us a lot and try hard for us!
adore this horse! even better that he lives like 45-60 minutes away from where i live hehehe
I think about how these two photos are from the same lesson a lot
I love cleaning horse stalls
Some stalls are neat and tidy, with little poop and pee piles in designated areas.
Some stalls you have to slay 2 dragons, cater to a wedding, and save the president to clean thoroughly.
through thick and thin
Something a little different in the showjumping arena!
CSI5* CSI2* CSIYH1* CSIAm-A
‘What a speedy opening round! Today Juergen Krackow (AUT/S) raced with his grey stallion Boulharouz as third but last starter through the CSI2* 1.40 m course and, with a time of 64.11 seconds, easily beat the time of Australian rider Jamie Winning who had led till then. The Salzburg-based rider impressed not only with his time but also the exact turns and correctly estimated distances, as well as the bitless bridle called a Bosal, which he had chosen for his stallion. “I would like to show that even in the big sports, horses can be presented successfully with alternative bridles instead of snaffle bits” explained Juergen Krackow in the winner’s interview, having already achieved third place yesterday. ’
update on Benny’s groundwork:
he’s starting to get the fact that he did something wrong if he didn’t get the clicker and the treat, which is good
he’s been on top of my non-stop, he is very clingy and licks my shoulder a lot
he’ll get mad if he got distracted and i start walking away from him, he’ll explode in a flurry of kicks and bucks to try and catch up to me… it’s pretty cute
anyways, we’re working on stopping when i ask him to and walking over several poles instead of just one
if he can’t jump it
he’ll just eat it
